Haiyi Wang

Haiyi Wang graduated from the University of Liverpool with a master's degree in Human Immunity. She has stayed in the UK for more than 20 years, and worked in the molecular biology and orthopedic laboratories of the University of Liverpool for 13 years. She serves as one of the editors-in-chief of the UKkids. She has two sons and one daughter. The eldest is studying in the Department of Mathematics at the University of Cambridge and the second and third are studying in a famous local grammar school.
王海一毕业于英国利物浦大学，人体免疫学硕士。旅居英伦二十余载，先后在利物浦大学分子生物学和骨外科学实验室做科研工作13年。担任英国养娃那些事儿公众号主编之一。育有两子一女，老大就读于英国剑桥大学数学系，老二老三就读于当地著名文法中学。

Lai Wei, known as Michelle, is a bachelor of Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language at Beijing Language and Culture University and master of Communications Studies at University of Leeds. She is qualified British Council consultant. She published Studying in the U.K. and Travelling in the U.K. in Chinese. During the past 20 years in London, she worked at Phoenix Chinese News and Entertainment Channel, London Academy for Higher Education, Arts Council England. Focusing on UK education in the recent 10 years, she is one of the Directors at UK Kids and the Headteacher of Orpington Chinese Language School Kingston Branch. Her daughter is a music scholar at Guildford High School, the 2nd best UK independent schools in 2024 according to The Times .
魏莱是北京语言大学对外汉语专业学士，英国利兹大学传播学硕士，British Council认证教育顾问。出版过《留学英国攻略》和《英国玩全指南》。在过去旅居英伦的二十余年里，她曾在凤凰卫视欧洲台、伦敦高等学院、英格兰艺术协会任职。近十年她致力于文化和教育，为英国养娃那些事儿号主编之一并曾任英国奥平顿中文学校金斯顿分校校长。育有一女，是《泰晤士报》2024年全英排名第二的吉尔福德中学音乐奖学金获得者。
Jia Ma

Jia Ma holds a PhD in Materials Science and has worked for many years at a UK university. She holds a PGCAP qualification in higher education teaching and is a British Council certified education consultant. She is the founder of UK Kids. Jia has published dozens of original articles on U.K. school admissions, exam preparation and school selection, and has hosted many large-scale seminars on exam preparation, music scholarships, and school selection, with audiences of over 100 people. She has also been invited to deliver educational seminars and provide professional support to multiple institutional clients.
As an expert on the UK education system, Jia is a private education consultant and student guardian. With more than 20 years of experience in the UK, she has provided consulting, preparation, and guardianship services to many Chinese families both in the UK and abroad. She has helped students successfully gain admission to top private schools such as Kensington Prep, Bute, Pembridge Hall, Godstowe, Westminster, St. Paul's Girls' School, Wycombe Abbey, St. Catherine's, St. Swithun's, Sevenoaks, and OIC through 4+, 7+, 8+, 11+, 13+, and 16+ exams. She is the mother of two daughters, both of whom attend St. Paul's Girls' School.
